Both sit in the same dual GP pool; the split is mainly package / board area. SOIC-8 vs MSOP-8 lands are not interchangeable.

- Package & pins: SOIC-8 or MSOP-8 on the current PCB?
- Supply window: min/max rails inside the device range.
- Swing: true RRIO needed? Headroom near the rails for distortion/drive.
- Bandwidth / slew: filter or buffer bandwidth—do not force a GP amp into high-speed line-drive duty.
- Offset / noise budget vs sensor full-scale (this is not a zero-drift class).
- Samples & lead time: pilot as second source; request datasheets from Jarwey.
