COSINE Tier-1 distributor Jarwey|40V RRIO COS2170SRA vs 36V precision COS1177SR

Jarwey 3 2026-10-08 15:40:45

Jarwey is a COSINE Tier-1 distributor and can help with selection, datasheets, samples, small lots, and lead time.

On a sensor or ADC front end, split the choice before comparing bandwidth ladders: does the input have to include the positive supply rail, or is the error budget a 50 µV offset? Rail-inclusive inputs start at the 40 V RRIO dual COS2170SRA. A 50 µV / 0.2 µV/°C budget starts at the 36 V precision single COS1177SR.

The earlier supply-rail note (5 V zero-drift versus 36 V precision) stays on COS8552SR and COS4177SR. This page does not reopen it. Bandwidth steps inside the 40 V RRIO class are in the 40 V RRIO family note. Channel count for the 2 MHz precision class is in the 36 V 2 MHz family note.

These product pages ask you to request the datasheet. Contact Jarwey for it.

Selection checklist

  1. Rail: if the peak sits near the positive supply, open COS2170SRA, COS2171SRA, COS2172SRA, or COS171TR before treating COS1177SR as RRIO.
  2. 50 µV: Vos max 50 µV and 0.2 µV/°C drift are written on COS1177SR and COS2177SR. They are not on the 40 V RRIO function lines.
  3. Supply: COS1177SR lists 4.5–36 V (±2.25–±18 V). The 40 V pages say “40 V RRIO”; confirm the continuous rating on the datasheet from Jarwey.
  4. GBP: stay on COS2170SRA when 1.5 MHz is enough and the input must include the rail. Move to 5 MHz (COS2171SRA or single COS171TR) or 10 MHz (COS2172SRA) only inside the RRIO class. GBP does not add a 50 µV limit.
  5. Channels: one precision channel is COS1177SR; two channels with the same stated offset are COS2177SR. Quad COS4177SR stays in the existing channel note.
  6. Slew, noise, Iq: 0.7 V/µs, 8 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz, and 0.33 mA belong to the COS1177SR description. COS2177SR only says the metrics match; ask Jarwey to confirm the datasheet line by line.
  7. Datasheet and samples: request the datasheet, samples, and lead time from Jarwey. Send the incumbent part number, the rail, and the offset you can accept.
