Low-power comparator family: µA Iq, push-pull vs open-drain

Jarwey 1 2026-09-07 10:15:22

COSINE low-power comparators target automotive, industrial, sensor, and consumer rails where Iq sits in the µA range and delay is tens to hundreds of nanoseconds. For ns/mA edges see the high-speed family; for nA sleep budgets see nano-power comparators.

Checklist before freeze

  1. Timing: is 40 ns or 260 ns enough for the industrial/auto edge?
  2. Battery: 40 µA vs 5 µA; need lower → nano-power comparator family.
  3. Push-pull vs open-drain: match pull-ups and wired-OR needs.
  4. Min supply: confirm 1.6 V start-up coverage.
  5. Samples: request from Jarwey.
