Gree Xinyuan Tier-1 distributor Jarwey|CD298K 550 V is on the 5000-hour card, not the 3000-hour CD298 card
Jarwey is a tier-1 distributor for Gree Xinyuan capacitors and can line up the datasheet, a small sample lot, and the delivery date.
The September 2026 Gree Xinyuan capacitor booklet uses the letters CD298 on two different cards. The industrial-power card is titled CD29H/CD298: 105°C, 3000 hours, rated 350–450 VDC. The inverter card is titled CD298/CD298K: 105°C, 5000 hours, rated 315–600 VDC. CD298K-550V-470uF shows a snap-in can, Φ35×60, 550 V / 470 µF. 550 V is outside the 3000-hour card.
Figures below are from that booklet, not from a part-level datasheet. Ask Jarwey for the datasheet. The visible parameter block on the product page does not print a ripple current. A series-public note on the same page cites 5000 h at 105°C and about 2.03 A at 120 Hz; that ampere is the appliance snap-in cell. The inverter common table prints 1900 mA for the same 550 V / 470 µF. Those two cells were already split in the life-and-ESR note. This page does not reopen them.
The 3000-hour card has no 550 V column
- Header on the CD29H/CD298 card: 350–450 VDC, 82–1000 µF, −40°C to +105°C, size range 22×25 to 35×50, 3000 hours at 105°C. The feature line says charge–discharge up to 50 million cycles. Standards cited: IEC 60384 and GB/T 6346.1. Ripple is specified at 105°C, 120 Hz.
- Voltage columns on that table are 385 V, 400 V, and 450 V. There is no 550 V column, and the title does not say CD298K.
- 450 V / 470 µF is 35×45 and 1780 mA. 450 V / 680 µF is 35×60 and 2600 mA. The header stops at 35×50, but the table already contains 35×60, 35×70, and 35×80. Take D×L from the row.
Three 470 µF rows share one can on the 5000-hour card
Header on the CD298/CD298K card: 315–600 VDC, 47–1500 µF, −40°C (some ratings −25°C) to +105°C, 5000 hours at 105°C. Standards cited: IEC 60384 and GB/T 2693. Ripple is again 105°C, 120 Hz. Three rows are 470 µF in a 35×60 can, and ripple does not rise with voltage:
- 500 V / 470 µF: 35×60, 1690 mA. No product page of its own.
- 525 V / 470 µF: 35×60, 2000 mA. No product page. Highest ripple of the three.
- 550 V / 470 µF: 35×60, 1900 mA. Voltage, capacitance, and can height match page 1032. The 1900 mA figure is on this common table, not in the product-page parameter block.
The same 550 V block also lists 320 µF, 35×55, 1600 mA. That is not 1032.
On the 3000-hour card, 450 V / 680 µF is also a 35×60 can, at 2600 mA. Same height, different voltage and capacitance. Do not copy 2600 mA onto the 550 V CD298K. The 450 V / 470 µF row there is 35×45, so the can is already shorter.
Which row matches a product page
| Card | Row | Can | Ripple, 105°C 120 Hz | Product page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CD29H/CD298 · 3000 h | 450 V / 470 µF | 35×45 | 1780 mA | No page. Can is not Φ35×60 |
| CD29H/CD298 · 3000 h | 450 V / 680 µF | 35×60 | 2600 mA | No page. Same height, not 1032’s voltage or capacitance |
| CD298/CD298K · 5000 h | 500 V / 470 µF | 35×60 | 1690 mA | No page of its own |
| CD298/CD298K · 5000 h | 525 V / 470 µF | 35×60 | 2000 mA | No page. Highest ripple among the 470 µF cans |
| CD298/CD298K · 5000 h | 550 V / 470 µF | 35×60 | 1900 mA | Matches 1032 on voltage, capacitance, and can. Milliamps stay on the common table |
| CD298/CD298K · 5000 h | 550 V / 320 µF | 35×55 | 1600 mA | Not 1032 |
CD298K-315V-1200uF is a Φ35×50 snap-in. The 3000-hour card starts at 350 VDC, so 315 V is not on it. The inverter common table prints 315 V / 1200 µF as 35×60 and 3250 mA; the appliance table prints Φ35×50 and about 3.25 A. That can-height split stays in the earlier article.
The booklet places the 3000-hour card next to a server label and the 5000-hour card next to an inverter label. Those are section labels, not an electrical interlock. The 2000-hour CD294 / CD294W pair is in the same-can ripple note. Snap-in electrolytic versus DC-link film is in the bus-capacitor note. Fan and compressor film capacitors are not in this table. Gree Xinyuan is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gree Electric; hours and milliamps still follow the matching row plus the datasheet.
Seven checks before layout
- Read the card title. CD29H/CD298 is not CD298/CD298K. The K suffix on 1032 belongs to the second title.
- Keep the hours. One header is 3000 hours at 105°C. The other is 5000 hours at 105°C. The “50 million cycles” line sits on the 3000-hour card. It is not a test report for 1032.
- Voltage window. 350–450 VDC on the 3000-hour card. Both 550 V and 315 V fall outside it. 315–600 VDC on the 5000-hour card.
- Same microfarads. 470 µF in a 35×60 can appears as 500 V / 1690 mA, 525 V / 2000 mA, and 550 V / 1900 mA. Ripple is not monotonic with voltage. Only 550 V matches 1032.
- Same can height. 450 V / 680 µF on the 3000-hour card is also 35×60, at 2600 mA. Do not copy that cell because the can matches.
- Header versus row, and the standards line. The 3000-hour size header ends at 35×50 while a row is already 35×60. Use the row. GB/T 6346.1 is on the first card; GB/T 2693 is on the second.
- Datasheet and a sample. Ask Jarwey for the 1032 datasheet, then measure temperature rise and ripple on the board. This is an evaluation, not an unverified replacement. Leave the 2.03 A versus 1900 mA pair in the earlier article.
