Synergy Tier-1 distributor Jarwey|SY2160 bleed resistor: 35 kΩ typical at 25°C, not 40 kΩ
Jarwey is a Synergy (Xinlijie) Tier-1 distributor and can help with the shortlist, the datasheet, samples, and small-lot timing.
Do not paste 40 kΩ onto every ultrasound switch. The SY2162QF product page prints a 40 kΩ bleed. The SY2160 and SY2320FN pages only say the bleed resistor is integrated. Their datasheets use a different window: at +25°C, RINT is 20 kΩ minimum, 35 kΩ typical, 50 kΩ maximum.
How the clamp switch shares the node with the 40 kΩ shunt is already covered. This note is only the ohm window. Thermal flags, shift clocks, and the BGA versus LGA split stay on their own pages. Figures come from the PDFs now posted. The SY2160 and SY2320FN electrical pages are marked preliminary. SY2162 is Rev. 0.1 (September 2023). SY2642 is Rev. 0.0. Freeze the BOM against the current PDF from Jarwey and a measurement on the probe.
40 kΩ is the typical column, not the SY2160 window
| Part | Product page | Symbol | Datasheet | Condition | Page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SY2160 | Integrated bleed, no ohms | RINT | +25°C: 20 / 35 / 50 kΩ. 0°C and +70°C columns are blank | Output switch to RGND, IRINT = 0.5 mA | 856 |
| SY2320FN | Integrated bleed, no ohms | RINT | +25°C: 20 / 35 / 50 kΩ. 0°C and +70°C columns are blank | Output switch to RGND, IRINT = 0.5 mA | 855 |
| SY2162QF | Prints 40 kΩ | RBLD | 30 / 40 / 50 kΩ | VDD = 5 V, LEB = 0, TA = 25°C, probe side | 853 |
| SY2322 / SY2640 / SY2642 | Print 40 kΩ | RBLD | 30 / 40 / 50 kΩ | VLL = 3.3 V, VDD = 5 V, LEB = 0, CSW = 0/1, TA = 25°C, probe side | 858 / 857 / 861 |
| SY2325 | Prints 40 kΩ | RBLD | 30 / 40 / 50 kΩ | Same header. The condition cell says SY2325 only, probe side | 859 |
| SY2326 | Feature line says 40 kΩ | Same table row | Also 30 / 40 / 50 kΩ, annotated SY2325 only | VLL = 3.3 V, VDD = 5 V, LEB = 0, CSW = 0/1, TA = 25°C | 860 |
Where a single number misses the budget
- The typicals sit close together. The floors do not. 20 kΩ versus 30 kΩ. Discharge time on the probe capacitance is R times C. A 40 kΩ estimate makes SY2160 look faster than its 50 kΩ maximum, and it understates the DC load, because the resistor can be 20 kΩ.
- 0.5 mA is the test current, not the probe bias. IRINT = 0.5 mA sits on the RINT row, next to “output switch to RGND”.
- Blank temperature columns stay blank. SY2160 and SY2320FN publish 20 / 35 / 50 only at +25°C. The 0°C and +70°C cells are dashes.
- 35 Ω is not 35 kΩ. On the +5 V parts, clamp on-resistance RONCL is 35 Ω typical with the main switches off, probe side. SY2160 RINT is 35 kΩ typical. Check the unit before the number goes into a spreadsheet.
- Read the SY2326 row note before using the floor. The feature list says 40 kΩ. This PDF marks the 30 / 40 / 50 row “SY2325 only”. Confirm with Jarwey that the row applies to SY2326 before using 30 kΩ as its minimum.
Checklist
- Read the symbol first. SY2160 and SY2320FN, the parts that still use VPP/VNN, specify RINT. The +5 V parts specify RBLD. Leave the product-page 40 kΩ off the first pair.
- Use the minimum for the heaviest DC load and the maximum for the slowest bleed. A typical-only cell hides both.
- Stay inside the column that actually has numbers. RINT is published at +25°C. The RBLD tables checked here are headed TA = 25°C.
- Keep the test setup with its own row. RINT is measured into RGND at 0.5 mA. RBLD is on the probe side. SY2162QF is headed VDD = 5 V, LEB = 0. SY2322, SY2325, SY2640, and SY2642 also state VLL = 3.3 V and CSW = 0/1.
- A feature bullet is not a min/max row. While the SY2326 PDF says “SY2325 only” on that row, the printed 40 kΩ does not by itself assign a 30 kΩ minimum to SY2326.
- Compare the other vendor on the same two lines. For a Microchip, Hitachi, or Maxim HV switch, match the bleed window and the test current, then measure on the board. That is an evaluation, not an unverified drop-in.
- Ask Jarwey for the datasheet. Product pages 856 and 855 do not show a datasheet button. If the PDF link fails, request the current file, samples, and the small-lot schedule.

Clamp-versus-shunt wiring is in the SY2162QF bleed and clamp note. Send the probe capacitance, the allowed bleed time, and the logic rail if you want the window checked against a lot date.
